Johnson completed her collegiate career tied for ninth in defenseman scoring with 43 points and 10th in defenseman assists (36) at Boston College.  Kaliya’s 35 blocked shots were tied for second on the team in 2015-16.  

She was a member of the silver-medal winning U.S. squad at the 2012 IIHF U18 World Championship and the Junior Women’s Hockey league first-team all-league squad in 2012 as she helped the North American Hockey Academy win the 2011-12 league championship. Additionally, Kaliya was the fastest skater at the 2009 USA Hockey national skills competition.


Johnson is in her third season in the league and second as a member of the Pride.

In 2016-17, Johnson played in 17 Games and notched 3 assists as a member of the Whale. She appeared in 18 games for the Pride in 2017-18, posting a pair of assists.
