Presenting the jerseys for the National Women’s Hockey League 2019 All-Star Weekend, hosted by the Nashville Predators!
The All-Star jerseys for Team Szabados and Team Stecklein were created by M Style Marketing, the global strategy, marketing and branding agency that created the new brand identities for the Minnesota Whitecaps and Boston Pride. Pre-orders of jerseys can be made starting today at www.nwhl.zone/shop.
“We thank Rob Striar and the creative team at M Style Marketing for continuing to produce innovative, thoughtful, gorgeous jerseys that our teams and fans love,” said NWHL Commissioner Dani Rylan. “I’d also like to add that seeing their new brand on our jerseys is a reminder of how extraordinary Dunkin’ has been in their support of the NWHL from day one. On behalf of everyone at our league, heartfelt thanks go out to Tom Manchester and the rest of the leadership team at Dunkin’.”
According to M Style, the NWHL All-Star color palette is inspired by Nashville and Tennessee. Irises are Tennessee’s state flower and the brilliant purple color is incorporated throughout the event branding. The gold in the logo and uniforms is drawn from the official City of Nashville flag. The color is also a nod to the NWHL’s event partners, the Nashville Predators. The All-Star font is inspired by marquees and signs across Nashville.
After All-Star Weekend, the jerseys worn by the stars in Nashville will be available at auction at MeiGray – the Official Game-Worn Source of the NWHL – at meigrayauctions.com. “As the NWHL grows in popularity, so does the demand for the players’ game-worn jerseys,” said MeiGray President Barry Meisel. “These All-Star jerseys from Nashville, with so many medal-winning Olympians selected to participate, will likely be the most popular sets we have ever auctioned.”
The 2019 NWHL All-Star Game will be played after the Predators host the St. Louis Blues at 11:30 am CT. Ticketholders for the Predators game are invited to stay for the NWHL event.
