While season tickets for the Minnesota Whitecaps are selling very quickly, only one fan was able to snag the very first two. Amy Bedient not only was the first person to buy season tickets, but she is arguably the NWHL’s biggest fan.
A longtime Buffalo Beauts supporter, Amy Bedient grew up watching the Sabres and fell in love with hockey as a young girl. She went on to develop a passion for women’s empowerment in sports and discovered the NWHL as a fan. Over the past three years, Bedient has been to countless games, met many players, and, as she says, “owns more NWHL jerseys than one person should.”
Due to a recent move to the midwest, Bedient has to leave the Beauts and is ready to #rollcaps. Bedient is looking forward to starting a community of fans in the area and is gearing up for the 2018-2019 season. With her favorite player Amanda Leveille signed by the Whitecaps, she is confident in the team's ability to contend for the Cup.
Amy will be starting a Whitecaps fan group and will be adding to the @WhitecapsCrew twitter as the season approaches.
Congrats again to Amy Bedient, the first official season ticket holder for the Minnesota Whitecaps. Fans looking to join her should get their season tickets now, while they’re available at nwhl.zone/tickets.
