Top 30 Prospects: #20-16

We are counting down the NWHL's Top 30 Prospects in preparation for the 2017 NWHL Draft! We will be listing five prospects until we reach number one!

#20: Ainsley MacMillan

Position: Defender

College: Northeastern University, Hockey East

Career: 107 GP, 7G, 27A, 34P
2016-2017: 35 GP, 2G, 10A, 12P

Hometown: Ilderton, Ontario
Planning to major in either Business or Broadcast Journalism, Ainsley previously played for the Mississauga Chiefs in the PWHL. She also won a gold medal with the Canada U-18 Team at the 2014 IIHF Women's World Championship and attended the PEAC School for Elite Athletes in 2011-12. Her hobbies include traveling and listening to music.

#19: Nina Rodgers

Position: Forward/Defender

College: Boston University, Hockey East

Career: 118 GP, 20G, 26A, 46P
2016-2017: 37 GP, 11G, 20A, 31P

Hometown: Minnetonka, Minnesota
Majoring in Psychology, Nina previously played at the University of Minnesota where she won national titles in 2015 and 2016. She was also named to the 2016 WCHA All-Academic Team and was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She played high school hockey at Hopkins High and was also a two-time silver medalist with the USA U-18 team. 

#18: Brooke Hartwick

Position: Forward

College: Mercyhurst University, CHA

Career: 105 GP, 28G, 28A, 56P
2016-2017: 35 GP, 16G, 18A, 34P

Hometown: London, Ontario
Prior to Mercyhurst, Brooke was a member of the Brampton Jr. Canadettes of the PWHL. Brooke was also a member of the U-18 Team Ontario Red that won a gold medal in Calgary in 2013, and played on a Selects Team in Europe in 2009-10.

#17: McKenna Brand

Position: Forward

College: Northeastern University, Hockey East

Career: 111 GP, 41G, 36A, 77P
2016-2017: 37 GP, 23G, 15A, 38P

Hometown: Nevis, Minnesota
McKenna is majoring in Health Sciences with the goal of becoming a physiotherapist. Before Northeastern, McKenna attended the North American Hockey Academy (NAHA), where she recorded a team-high 46 points in 31 games during the 2013-2014 season. She was also a member of Team USA at the 2013 U-18 Series in Lake Placid.  

#16: Amy Schlagel

Position: Defender

College: University of New Hampshire, Hockey East

Career: 107 GP,  25G, 29A, 54P
2016-2017: 35 GP, 13 G, 10A, 23P

Hometown: Blaine, Minnesota
Majoring in Entrepreneurship and Finance, Amy was a Hockey East First Team All-Star in the 2016-2017 season and led the nation in goals by a defender. Before University of New Hampshire, Amy played varsity hockey at Blaine High School.
