Meghan Duggan scored two goals and had one assist in the Pride’s 5-2 come-from-behind victory over the Connecticut Whale last Saturday.
Heading into this weekend’s All-Star break, the Pride sit at the top of the NWHL standings with an impressive 12-0 record on the season.
Duggan picked up her first goal after receiving a beautiful pass from Alex Carpenter and then putting it home on a one-timer to score what would end up being the game-winning goal to put the Pride up 3-2. Duggan got her second goal of the night on a deflection off a shot taken by Blake Bolden extending the Pride lead to 5-2.
Duggan has been incredibly hot over the past three games, recording nine points (6 goals, 3 assists). With Saturday’s performance, Duggan now has a three-game goal scoring streak, and is tied at the top of the scoring race with ten goals on the season.
Duggan will be in Pittsburgh this weekend attending the NWHL All-Star game. The Pride are back in action the week after in Boston as they take on the Buffalo Beauts.
