Paige Voight, a forward from St. Michael, Minnesota, recently finished her collegiate hockey career at Merrimack College. In high school, Voight played her freshman year with North Write County High School, where she was named an all-conference honorable mention thanks to her 29-point season. Voight then transferred to Cretin-Derham Hall. She recorded 47 points as a junior as she earned all-state and all-conference honors. As a senior, she led the Southeast Conference in goals with 32. She earned all-state and all-conference honors for the second straight year and was a runner-up for the prestigious Minnesota Ms. Hockey award. Other awards Voight won as a senior include the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, Pioneer Press Player of the Year and the Athena Award.

As a freshman at Merrimack, Voight led the team in scoring and total points in its inaugural season. She recorded 11 goals and eight assists for a total of 19 points in 34 games. Additionally, she finished third among all freshmen in Hockey East in goals and eighth among all freshmen in the nation. At the end of the season, Voight was honored with a nomination to the Hockey East Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team.

Voight continued to improve her sophomore year as she recorded 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points in 36 games. The 26 points were good for second on the team. Her 15 goals ranked seventh among all players in Hockey East. Last year, Voight finished second on the team in scoring with 13 points (5-8-13) and added 25 blocked shots.

This past season, Voight closed out her collegiate career with 18 points (11-7-18) in 36 games. She also finished third on her team with 98 shots on net and second among forwards on her team with 26 blocked shots. In December, Voight was drafted 16th overall by the Metropolitan Riveters during the 2018 NWHL Draft. She will graduate from Merrimack at the end of the school year with a degree in accounting.
