August 8, 2017, Brooklyn, NY – The National Women’s Hockey League has released the schedule for the 2017-18 regular season.

Season tickets for all teams go on sale this Thursday, Aug. 10 at 11:00 am at NWHL.zone.

The NWHL’s founding four franchises – Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale and New York Riveters – will each play 16 games in season three. Opening Day for all four teams is Saturday, Oct. 28, and the regular season finales are on Saturday, March 10. Each team will play one game per week, with the exception of the weekend of Jan. 20-21, when the Pride and Riveters are playing a home-and-home series.

There is one game on a Friday (Connecticut at Boston on Feb. 2), 19 games on Saturdays and 12 on Sundays. There are two neutral-site regular season games featuring the defending Isobel Cup champion Buffalo Beauts: Buffalo will face the Riveters in Rochester on Nov. 4, and the Whale in Pittsburgh on Jan. 14. The 2018 NWHL All-Star Weekend will take place on Feb. 10-11 in an NHL city to be announced in the near future.

The NWHL Twitter "Game of the Week" will stream live on Twitter at NWHL.twitter.com or via @NWHL. The broadcast schedule will be released in the weeks ahead.

The Pride play at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston; the Beauts at Harborcenter in Buffalo; the Whale at Terry Conners Ice Rink in Stamford; and the Riveters at RWJ Barnabas Health Hockey House in Newark. The playoff semifinals are tentatively scheduled for the weekend of March 17, and the Isobel Cup Final is expected to be played on the weekend of March 24.
