We are counting down the NWHL's Top 30 Prospects in preparation for the 2017 NWHL Draft! We will be listing five prospects until we reach number one!


#30: Catherine Daoust

College: University of Minnesota-Duluth, WCHA

Bio
Hometown: Ile Bizard, Quebec
Majoring in mechanical engineering, Catherine was also a member of the Canadian U-18 team that won gold at the IIHF U-18 World Championship in Heinola, Finland. 

#29: Annika Zalewski

College: Colgate University, ECAC

Bio:
Hometown: New Hartford, New York
Majoring in Psychology, Annika previously played for the Buffalo Bisons. Annika's brother Steve played for the San Jose Sharks and New Jersey devils, while her other brother Mike currently plays for the Vancouver Canucks.

#28: Annie Belanger

Bio:
Hometown: Sherbrooke, Quebec
Majoring in Business, Annie led Team Quebec to a silver medal at the 2011 National Women's Under-18 Championship. Previously attended prep school at Champlain College where she was named team MVP in 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

Bio
Hometown: New Brighton, Minnesota

Majoring in Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations, Sam was runner up for the Minnesota Ms. Hockey Award in 2014.

#26: Katerina Mrázová

Bio:
Hometown: Prague, Czech Republic
Majoring in Human Resource Management, Katerina spent five years in the Czech Republic's National Team program and competed in the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship. She also played in the CWHL with the Boston Blades during the 2012-2013 season and is the first European player to win the Clarkson Cup.
